The JCARA 146.79 repeater has been upgraded to a new Yaesu System Fusion DR2-X effective 8/28/2018.

The repeater operates in Automatic Mode Select (AMS), allowing analog FM and C4FM digital voice and data.

Analog FM users should enable tone squelch on their radios to prevent hearing the digital packets.

The analog FM tone remains 131.8 Hz.

Work continues on the Communications Trailer. The unit is undergoing a complete refitting with all new communications capability.
